About our Consitution
The year was 1787. The place: the State House in Philadelphia, the same location where the Declaration of Independence had been signed 11 years earlier. For four months, 55 delegates from the several states met to frame a Constitution for a federal republic that would last into "remote futurity." This is the story of the delegates to that convention and the framing of the federal Constitution.

119 Organize Yourselves

Organize yours; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God.

Docterine and Covenants 88: 188

And as all have not faith, seek ye dilgently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom; seek learning, even by study and also by faith.

We Are Different But In The End We Are All One

Like in the second movie of The Lion King, we learn that though we are different, and though we look and act different. We are one. We have one creator. And we are one family. No matter what nationality we are. We are all sons and daughters of God. Lets have no more racisim or prejudicism, no more judging others because they are different. Accept them. Love them. Be their friend. For we are all one.

You're Not Alone

You're not alone when you are sad or mad.

You are not alone at all for there are others just like you and me.

You're not alone when you are feeling the worst.

For there is someone that felt the very same.

I may not be in the same faith as you (whoever reads this from any religion) but I do know is that Jesus Christ went through so many trails and tribulations, I hope I don't sound to preachy. But what I am saying is true. Jesus Christ lives. He is real. Though we cannot see him for he is in heaven. Jesus Christ went through alot more then we will ever will go through. He knows every single pain you are going through because he had felt the very same pains. Please know that you are never alone. We may not see God nor we may see the Savior. But they are there with us if we have the right spirit with us, we can feel their presence. I have depression. Which can make your mind seem to go goofy. But I have been told many times. That I am not alone. Though I would push that aside and say that if God truly loved me he wouldn't let this happen to me. Then I truly came to realize that I was wrong. Jesus Christ loved us so much that he had given up his life. In the scriptures it says that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten (and beloved) son to come and die for us, to take our sins upon him. If the Savior didn't love us. Then would he have done this? I know that Satan likes to deceive us. By the words he says. By telling others to tell us stuff that would make us often depressed, no matter what people say no matter what Satan says. Never believe them. Because you are a child of God. I am grateful to have my dad and my mother. They have taught me so much and I've yet to learn more from them. Aren't we so blessed to have wonderful parents who loves us? If you truly don't believe that miracles happen. I want to share a story with you that is personal but had strengthened my love and testimony in Christ. When I was a young girl. Before School had ever started. I wanted to help my mom by backing the van out and so that I had done that, but the thing is the car had jerked forward making me terrified. I had tried to turn off the car. It didn't work. I tried to step on the breaks. It didn't work. I was fearing that it would crash into the garage which it almost did, but I had felt as though someone had pushed the car back, BUT THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND! I had screamed for help as loud as my voice could carry me, but no one came. I had felt my heart pound hard as I opened the car door and jumped out. The car almost went down towards the pond but stopped. There were angels watching out for me. And I knew they were sent by God to protect me. The moral to this story that I told you is. That God is real. Miracles do happen. That if God didn't love us then he would have let us go to destruction. But that is not who he is. I love my Savior and I love my Heavenly Father of whom I know that he truly loves me for being me. I so testify in the name of our Savior. Amen.

Veterans Alive....Need Visits

There are veterans that are still alive. They need your care and they need someone to thank them for risking their lives to protect our freedom for those that hate us, there are veteran nursing homes around. Go and make a difference. Put a smile on their faces. For just thanking them for what they did for us and for the people they love will make them feel better and I am sure would make you feel better too! If there are others that aren't in a nursing home no matter what age they are and they are a veteran, just tell them "Thank you for fighting for my freedom" and it will make their day. I guarentee that they will love it too. Sometimes some don't show it but secretly deep down inside they are grateful for what you have to say.

Vocal Point Shows Their Love For America

Curtsey Picture of Vocal Point Taken By: Mary Church

When Vocal Point was here for the summer. They did a tribute to America. Telling how much they loved America and how much it truly meant to them to have their freedom. The song had touched me so much, I think that we all need to be grateful for our freedom. The song they used was I'm Proud To Be An American by Josh Groban. Thank You Vocal Point for showing your love for this country!

A TRUBIUTE TO MY BELOVED GRANDPA CHURCH

My grandfather Karl Vernon Church is the father of my father Chris Vernon Church. Karl had served as a veteran in World War II. He was a beloved father to six children and a beloved grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grand children. Karl was also a beloved husband who was devoted to his wife unto the very end which was the day that he had died July 31st, 2009. Karl was born on April 29th, 1923. He will forever will be missed. And thanks to my beloved grandfather. I have a wonderful father who is still married to his highschool sweetheart and who treats her the very best. I will miss you grandpa!

This is a picture of men that had fought in World War II.. they too had fought for our freedom.

Remember Oh Remember

The battle between England to get our freedom....our forefather's war for freedom.
Firefighters put up the flag in rememberance of those who died while saving people's lives.

Remember oh remember the people that had put down their lives for us. Remember oh remember the blood that had been shed for us. If we truly would understand what they had done for us we would truly be more grateful. Please remember and be grateful for your freedoms because if you aren't and if you don't do this, then our forefathers and the people that we love that is fighting for our freedom, is fighting in vain!

My Philosophy

Your Thougths Become Your Actions,
Your Actions Become Your Consequences
and Your Consequences can either become your reward or your destruction....it's your choice!

Bald Eagle..Our National Bird

I love bald eagles. Not only are they our national bird but that they are beautiful. They show power and they show freedom. Don't you think that bald eagles are amazing? They are so pretty that alot of people from everywhere come to see them, and that I am glad that God had created such beautiful animals...

In God We Trust

Aren't we so lucky to have freedom in America? Despite if we are in finincial debt in America. Or if the president of the United States Of America makes mistakes of which we all do. But we are not perfect. Just remember our forefathers and how much they had sacreficed so we could have freedom. We should be proud to be Americans, for America is our freedom and God is our life savor. Without both. We would be in doom and in destruction. We should always say the pledge of allegance and we should always be proud to carry dollars bills that say IN GOD WE TRUST!

THE SACRED GROVE

Just imagine if you were in this beautiful scenery. Imagine the excitement that the Prophet Joseph Smith had when he had seen God the father and Jesus Christ the son of the living God. Wouldn't it be a honor to go to Palmyra, New York to see where all of this had happened? Whenever you are feeling down...just think of the amazing experience that Joseph Smith had when he had seen God and Jesus....imagine if you were him and the wonderful experience it would be to have the same experience as Joseph Smith.

A Look For Peace

Our lives are hard and they will get harder. But the thing is to know that we are not alone. There are people all over the world going through the same thing as you are, never feel like you are alone because there is someone out in the world that is going through a hard time. People breaking up, people divorcing, people dying and so on and so forth. That is happening in the world. It may hurt but it is part of life. God is real and he is alive. We may not see him but he exists. Trials are the hardest thing in life but we have to choose to accept it because our trials is our test and our test is our life. The thing to know is that we are never alone, the savior had went through so much so that he can help us out through hard and difficult times. In a hymn that Vocal Point had sang when they were in Nauvoo "Lead Kindly Light" is a song that has helped me through hard and difficult times. You can find it in your hymnal books. "Sometimes our lives we all have pain, we all have sorrow..." is part of the lyrics of the song "Lean On Me". I know that life is hard and that we all want it to end, but putting you life away won't help. There are people that care and love you. Sometimes it seems that they don't by the way they act. But the thing is that there are people that just don't know how to act and they make mistakes, we all make mistakes...no one is perfect.
